Step 1
Listen to a conversation. A guest will pay the check at the cashier counter of a cha chaan teng. Fill in each blank with a number.

- 埋單 maai4 daan1 = to pay the bill

Listen to the conversation again. Choose the correct record card.
Answer
Some cha chaan teng will use a hand-written card to record the prices of the ordered food. The plus sign indicates items that require an extra charge (e.g., $2 for iced drinks). When we have finished our meal, we will bring the card to the cashier counter to pay the bill.
