34.5 The Verb 收 sau1 (‘to receive; to accept’)

The verb 收 sau1 means ‘to receive’. We can put two objects after 收 sau1. The first one is an indirect object (the giver, i.e. the person who gives the thing). The second one is a direct object (the thing received).
