27.5 The Sentence Particle 喎 wo3 (Realization)

We can use the sentence particle 喎 wo3 to indicate realization or help the listener realize something. We use 喎 wo3 when we say something that we or the listener wasn’t aware of previously. 喎 wo3 also signals that what we are saying is noteworthy and the listener should pay attention to it.
| A: | 呢個好似好好味噉喎。 ni1 go3 hou2 ci5 hou2 hou2 mei6 gam2 wo3. This one seems very delicious. Speaker A has realized that a dish looks delicious and wants to draw Speaker B’s attention to it. |
